Beautiful Bamboo It's called the plant of 1,001 uses --- and for good reason. Bamboo has been the paper (and the brush) of poems and paintings. It's nutritious and delicious (moo shu chicken, anyone?) It's healing (used in ayurvedic and Chinese medicine) and renewable (found in furniture, floors and jewelry). But who'd have thought that it would start showing up in beauty products? When crushed, bamboo is a gentle exfoliant; in liquid form (bamboo tears), it's a great moisturizer.
